Khalkabad

an urban-type settlement in Pap Raion, Namangan Oblast, Uzbek SSR. Khalkabad is located three km from the right bank of the Syr Darya. It has a railroad station (Pap) on the Kokand-Uchkurgan line. Industry it represented by the Uzbekkrovlia Combine and a plant that manufactures asphalt and concrete. Khalkabad has a heat and power plant.
