Special Features:Jefferson Landing, one of the few remaining 19th-century riverfrontlandings on the Missouri River, was a busy center of commerce inJefferson City during the mid-1800s. Steamboats traveling from SaintLouis to Kansas City often docked in front of the Lohman Building,which today houses a visitor center, museum, and public meeting room.Nearby is the Missouri State Capitol, in which the Missouri StateMuseum houses an impressive collection of exhibits portraying thestate's history, legends, and cultural achievements.
