Jebel Ed Druz a volcanic massif in southern Syria. Its highest peak is Mt. el Jeina (1,803 m). The Jebel ed Druz is composed chiefly of basalt and is surrounded by extensive lava fields. There are craters on the slopes and summits that were active during the Pliocene epoch. |
