Kelbadzhar

an urban-type settlement and administrative center of Kel’badzhar Raion, Azerbaijan SSR. It is located in the Lesser Caucasus (elevation, 1,800 m), on the Terter River, 137 km southwest of the Barda railroad station. Kel’badzhar is connected by highway to the railroad station. Population, 5,000 (1970). There is livestock raising in the region.
