Location:Southwest of Palmer, at milepost 38 on Glenn Highway.
Facilities:Camping and picnicking sites (at Long Lake only), trails (except atMatanuska Lake); most of the lakes have toilets (é) and/or water (é).
Activities:Camping, fishing.
Special Features:Area encompasses four lakes that have excellent fishing: Canoe, Irene, Long, and Matanuska.
