Isker Gorge

a gorge in Bulgaria, in the western part of the Stara Planina (Balkan Mountains), where the range is pierced by the Isker River. Length, 63 km.

A railroad line, with many tunnels, and a highway pass through the gorge and link Sofia with the Walachian Plain.
