Location:In the town of Pleasant Valley, midway between New York City andAlbany. Off Taconic State Parkway, park is 1 mile north of the exit forNYS Route 55/Poughkeepsie.
Facilities:18-hole golf course, driving range, pro shop, clubhouse, snack bars,full-service restaurant (é), picnic areas (é), 2 picnic pavilions(é), sports complex, playground (é), nature center, multi-usetrails (7 miles).

Special Features:Park land was donated to the state by James Baird, whose constructioncompany built the Lincoln Memorial. The golf course was designed byRobert Trent Jones, and the par 5, 13th hole is among the mostchallenging in the Hudson Valley. The restaurant overlooking the golfcourse is open both to golfers and to the general public. The golfcourse is open from early April through mid-November; the park is openyear round.
