Kagalnik
Kagal’nik
(known as the Kagal’nichek in its upper course), a river in Rostov Oblast, RSFSR. Length, 162 km; basin area, approximately 5, 040 sq km. It flows across the Kuban-Azov(Kuban) lowlands, into the Gulf of Taganrog of the Sea of Azov.It is fed primarily by melted snow. During the summer, its upperreaches dry up. Dams have been constructed along the river’scourse, dividing it into separate pools.
