Kemancha

(kiamanchd), a bowed stringed instrument found in Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, and Dagestan, as well as in the countries of the Middle East. It has a spherical body, a rounded neck that widens at the top, and four strings. Its total length is 640–660 mm. The modern kemancha is tuned in fourths and fifths.
