or Bolo, a river in Krasnoiarsk Krai, RSFSR (theupper course is in Irkutsk Oblast), one of the rivers forming theTuba River (right tributary of the Enisei). Length, 388 km; basinarea, 20, 900 sq km. The Kazyr River originates and flows within the Vostochnyi Saian Range and its spurs. The river valley is mostly narrow and has many rapids (Verkhnii Kitatskii andUbinskii, for example). Below the confluence of the Kizir River, the valley widens and the riverbed divides into numerous chan-nels. The Kazyr is fed by snow and rain. The average annual flowrate at the village of Sretenka (40 km from the mouth) is 317 cum per sec.
