释义 | Investing for Health 2002Investing for Health 2002A publication of the UK Department of Health, Social Services and Public Safety, which delineated how the Executive (central Government) planned to “improve the health of all our people and reduce health inequalities.” Investing for Health recognised that health/well-being is largely determined by the social, economic, physical and cultural environment, and that health policy cannot limit itself to treating ill health while ignoring measures that help prevent it. Investing for Health seeks to tackle the factors which adversely affect health and perpetuate health inequalities; it was shaped by the considered views of many respondents across a wide range of sectors and interests in the UK who participated in the consultation process, and contains a framework for action based on partnership working amongst Departments, public bodies, local communities, voluntary bodies, District Councils and the social partners. |
