angiomyxoma
an·gi·o·myx·o·ma
(an'jē-ō-miks-ō'mă),angiomyxoma
(1) Aggressive angiomyxoma.(2) Superficial angiomyxoma.
The modern equivalent of this lesion is uncertain; it was decribed as a well-vascularised tumour with a loose stroma. It does not appear to be the same as the “aggressive angiomyxoma” described by Steeper and Rosai (Am J Surg Path 1983; 7:463).
