Irkineeva

(or Irkaneeva), a river in Krasnoiarsk Krai, RSFSR; right-bank tributary of the Angara. Length, 363 km. Basin area, 13,600 sq km. It rises and flows within the Central Siberian Plateau. It is fed by snow and rain. The average annual discharge is 47.1 cu m per sec at the village of Bedoba (82 km from its mouth). The Irkineeva freezes in November, and the ice breaks up early in May. It has rapids at several points.
