Iziaslav

a city and administrative center of Iziaslav Raion, KhemPnitskii Oblast, Ukrainian SSR, on the Goryn’ River, a tributary of the Pripiat’. Railroad station (Iziaslavl’) on the Ternopol’-Shepetovka line. Population, 14, 300(1971). Iziaslav is the site of a creamery, a brickworks, and factories for the production of furniture and musical instruments.
