Karabagliar
Karabagliar
a settlement, 40 km northwest of Nakhichevan. It is the site of a partially preserved complex of medieval structures. There is a brick mausoleum (first half of the 14th century) and a pair of minarets (12th century). Portions of the portals connecting the minarets have also been preserved. The mausoleum is in the shape of a tower. Its exterior walls are semicylindrical and are faced with decorative turquoise bricks. The four portals are adorned with polychromatic majolica.
