Internal Communication
Internal Communication
the transmission and reception of business information within closed administrative and industrial units, such as enterprises, institutions, and industrial associations. Internal communication is one of the most important facilities of office machinery.
A distinction is made between nonfacsimile and facsimile internal communication. The former includes telephony, radio communications, and radiotelephony, intercommunication systems, paging systems, and closed-circuit television. Facsimile internal communication includes telegraph and phototelegraph systems, communication using TelAutographs and computer terminals, and transportation of documents (by pneumatic and electromechanical conveyors) within an institution.
