A professional organization for traders in swaps and other derivatives. It serves as a lobbying group for the profession with the United States government, and sets uniform practices for members. Importantly, it writes and periodically updates the ISDA Master Agreement, which is a standardized contract for OTC derivatives. It maintains its headquarters in New York City.
