Helminth Geography

the branch of science dealing with the world distribution of helminths; a branch directly related to zoogeography and helminthology. The parasitic way of life of helminths themselves, coupled with human activities such as the domestication and acclimatization of wild animals and the changing of natural conditions over large areas of the earth’s surface, exert a considerable influence on the geographical distribution of helminths.
