Grindelwald Glaciers

two glaciers in the Bernese Alps in Switzerland, on the northwestern slopes of the Finsteraarhorn. The lower Grindelwald Glacier has an area of 37 sq km and a tongue of 7.5 km, which descends to an altitude of 1,240 m. The upper glacier has an area of only 14.5 sq km.
