Grigorii Vasilevich Kisunko
Kisun’ko, Grigorii Vasil’evich
Born July 20, 1918, in the village of Bel’manka, in what is now Kuibyshev Raion, Zaporozh’e Oblast. Soviet scientist in radioelectronics. Corresponding member of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR (1958) and Hero of Socialist Labor (1956). Member of the CPSU since 1944.
Kisun’ko graduated from the Voroshilovgrad Pedagogical Institute in 1938. His principal works have been in radio engineering and in electronics. A deputy to the seventh and eighth convocations of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR, he has been awarded two Orders of Lenin, the Order of the Red Star, and various medals.
