Points of interest include MultnomahFalls, the second highest year-round waterfall in the US and the most visited natural site in Oregon, as well as Bridal Veil Falls, Chanticleer Point, Wahkeena Falls, Horsetail Falls, and Ainsworth State Park. The Vista House at Crown Point serves as a memorial to Oregon's pioneers. During the spring, the Oneonta Gorge area erupts into magnificentwildflower displays, including many plants that only exist in thisarea.
Legth: 70 miles. Start/Endpoint: Paralleling the Columbia River, byway includes two separate sections: from Troutdale to Dodson and from Mosier to The Dalles. Time to Allow: 2 hours. Designation/Year: All-American Road (1998).
