Beloiarsk

an urban-type settlement in Altai Krai, RSFSR. Located on a channel of the Ob’ River, 1.5 km north of the city of Novoaltaisk. Population, 9,000 (1968). There is a plant for the treatment of utility poles and a lumber-transshipping combine.
