Berikulskii

an urban-type settlement in Tisul’ Raion, Kemerovo Oblast, RSFSR. Located in the foothills of the Kuznetskii Alatau, in the valley of the Sukhoi Berikul’ River (Ob’ basin), 77 km south of the Tiazhin railroad station (on the Novosibirsk-Achinsk line). Population, 2,900 (1968). Gold mining is carried on in Berikul’skii.
