Hyacinthella
a genus of perennial bulbous plants of the family Liliaceae. The plants range from 15 to 20 cm in height. There are two or three fluted leaves in a rosette at the base of the scape. The flowers are infundibuliform, white or blue, about 1.5-2 cm in diameter, and clustered in a raceme. The lobes of the perianth are shorter than the tube and are straight. There are more than 30 species in the genus. They grow on the steppes, foothills, and mountains of Europe, Asia Minor, and Middle Asia. There are four species in the USSR.
