Gödöllo
Gödöllo
a city in Hungary, in the megye (county) of Pest. Population, 22,000 (1967). It is an important railroad junction. The Ganz plant, producing electrical measuring devices, is also located there. There is an agricultural academy, with a scientific research institute and experimental stations and farms. The city is also noted for its palace, built in the baroque style by the architect A. Mayerhoffer (1744-50).
