GWHIS Viewer for Microsoft Windows differs from NCSAMosaic for Microsoft Windows in several ways including:

A hotlist similiar to the X Window System version. EditAnnotation and Delete Annotation work. All Buttons and MenuItems are "greyed out" while files are being retreived andprocessed. This prevents the user from queing up requests tothe TCP/IP stack which causes many crashes. Look and Feelare similiar to the X version. On-line help is complete.Functional Setup program. Greater overall stability.
