(Spanish ɡusˈman ˈblaŋko) n (Biography) Antonio (anˈtonjo). 1829–99, Venezuelan statesman; president (1873–77; 1879–84; 1886–87). He was virtual dictator of Venezuela from 1870 until his overthrow (1889)
