Location:From I-70, exit to Silt, then 0.1 miles east on Main and then north 1.2 miles on 7th, which will become CR 214 (peach valley); turn west on CR 233 (Silt Mesa) for 1.1 miles, then north on CR 237 (Harvey Gap Rd) 3.3 miles to park entrance.
Facilities:30 picnic sites, boat ramp, restrooms.
Activities:Boating (20-hp limit), sailboardng, fishing, swimming, ice fishing, ice skating, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling,snowtubing, hunting (with restrictions).
Special Features:The lake at Harvey Gap sits in an area of cedar and sagebrush habitat,but the lakeshore has many shady cottonwood trees. The Grand Hogback,the ridge that marks the edge of the Rocky Mountains, runs along thesouth end of the 190-acre reservoir. The park, which is for day useonly, offers easy access for all kinds of water recreation, and thereservoir is a favorite with anglers.
