Gus-Zheleznyi

an urban-type settlement in Kasimov Raion, Riazan’ Oblast, RSFSR. It is located on the Gus’ River, a tributary of the Oka, 18 km northwest of Kasimov, There is a mechanical plant and a lumbering combine. Gus’-Zheleznyi grew up as a village in the 18th century around an iron-working plant.
