Indiga Bay

 

an inlet in the southeastern part of the Barents Sea at the entrance to Chesha Bay. Bounded in the northeast by Cape Sviatoi Nos, it measures 18.5 km long and 39 km wide at the entrance. Depths reach 18 m. The shores for the most part are low-lying. The Indiga, Liamchina, Zheleznaia, and Bugatika rivers flow into the bay. There are tides twice daily (up to 2.7 m). Indiga Bay is covered with ice from November through May.
