Gusinoozersk Hollow
an intermontane depression between the eastern spurs of the Khamar-Daban and the Monostoi range in the Buriat ASSR. It is composed of Mesocenozoic sedimentary deposits, where a brown coal field may be found. The bottom is 550–600 m high. In the center is Gusinoe Lake, from which the Bain-Gol River flows. The bottom of the hollow is coveied with steppe vegetation and is swampy in places. There are dry steppes on the slopes.
