Location:Northwest corner of the state, an hour from Toledo.
Facilities:175 campsites (150 with electricity), 2 rent-a-yurts, camper cabin, youth group camp, showers, flush toilets, picnic areas, picnic shelters, hiking trails (4 miles), swimming beach, boat ramps, nature center, bike rentals, game courts, playground.
Activities:Camping, boating (electric motors only), canoeing, fishing, swimming, hiking, biking, sledding, cross-country skiing, ice fishing.
Special Features:Once a vast swampland, the area around the park was a tremendous barrier to western settlement. It wasn't until the development of soil drainage techniques in the 1850s that settlers began to move here and develop the area into one of Ohio's richest agricultural regions.
