Location:Off Route 57 in Granville, along the southern border of Massachusetts.
Facilities:22 campsites (no hookups), restrooms (é), showers, trails.
Activities:Camping, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, hunting(with restrictions), cross-country skiing, bird watching, wildlifeviewing. Campingis permitted only at designated sites; wilderness camping and swimming areprohibited.
Special Features:Forest includes rustic campgrounds along the Hubbard River, named forthe first English pioneer who settled here in 1749. The river cascadesthrough natural rock formations, forming pools and waterfalls and dropping450 feet in 2.5 miles.
