释义 | Hurst, James WillardHurst, James Willard(1910– ) legal scholar; born in Rockford, Ill. A teacher at the University of Wisconsin: Madison (1937–80, emeritus 1981), he studied the relationship between law and society, and between the legislative and judicial processes. His books on American legal history include Law and the Conditions of Freedom in the 19th Century U.S. (1956) and Law and Economic Growth (1964). |
