Hsiliao Ho
Hsiliao Ho
a river in Northeast China, the western fork of the Liao Ho. From its source at the Laoha Ho, the Hsiliao Ho is approximately 1,200 km long. It is fed principally by rain. High water occurs in July and August; the river is frozen from December to April. The mean flow rate is approximately 2,400 cu m per sec. The Hsiliao Ho is navigable below the city of Shuangliao.
