Ilimpeia

a river in the Evenki National Okrug, Krasnoiarsk Krai, RSFSR, a left tributary of the Nizhniaia Tunguska River. Length, 611 km; basin area, 17,400 sq km. The Ilimpeia originates in and flows through the Central Siberian Plateau. It freezes at the end of October; the ice breaks up at the beginning of May. The Limptekan and Sungnumo are left tributaries of the Ilimpeia. Because of rapids, the river is not navigable. [10–37CM4]
