Herbig-Haro objects Herbig–Haro objects (hah -roh) (HH objects) Small peculiar bright nebulae, containing concentrations of gas and dust, that have been lit up by the flux of radiation from, for example, T Tauri stars or shocked into excitation in gas outflows from T Tauri stars or other protostellar objects. The latter may give rise to a string of HH objects, aligned along a bipolar outflow. |
