Horo

a Bulgarian round dance. The horo is danced in 2/4, 5/16, or 9/16 time and is accompanied by singing or a tune played on the gaida (a bagpipe) or other folk instruments. The dancers may hold hands, put their arms around each other’s waists, or place their hands on each other’s shoulders.
