Grab Bucket Loader

a machine for loading rock into a mine lift bucket. Grab bucket loaders can be powered by pneumatic or electric means, with the grab bucket being actuated pneumatically or by cable or hydraulic gate. The loaders are guided, that is, moved along the face of the cutting, by hand or by power. The size of the grab bucket varies from light, with a capacity of 0.05–0.20 cu m. to medium. 0.25–0.65 cu m. and heavy. 0.7–1.5 cu m.
