An experienced GP in the UK who has:
(1) The appropriate paperwork (active registration with the Royal College of General Practitioners).
(2) Experience—acted as a Foundation Year 2 Clinical Supervisor (FY2CS) for at least one 4-month FY2 placement, or participated in supporting the FY2 Community Educational Supervisor (FY2CES) role locally.
(3) Training—undertaken all 3 modules of the GP educator pathway (or has a portfolio of evidence supporting his/her educational activities), and shouldered the responsibility of training junior doctors to become general practitioners.
