Iangirabad

an urban-type settlement and the administrative center of Khatyrchi Raion, Samarkand Oblast, Uzbek SSR. Iangirabad is situated on the Ak Darya, a branch of the Zeravshan River, 14 km north of the Zirabulak railroad station on the Kagan-Samarkand line. The settlement has a cotton mill.
