HCK A gene on chromosome 20q11-q12 that encodes a non-receptor tyrosine-protein kinase belonging to the Src family, which is primarily haemopoietic for myeloid and B-cells lineages. It may help couple the Fc receptor to respiratory burst activation, and it may play a role in neutrophil migration and degranulation. HCK phosphorylates ADAM15, BCR, ELMO1, FCGR2A, GAB1, GAB2, RAPGEF1, STAT5B, TP73, VAV1 and WASHCP1
