He plays characters in the show such as Daffyd Thomas (a gay Welsh man), Vicky Pollard (a badly behaved teenage girl), Andy Pipkin (a man in a wheelchair), and Marjorie Dawes (a diet instructor). He first became famous playing the character of George Dawes, a large baby who played the drums and kept the score on Shooting Stars, a comedy television game show with Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer. He is known for being bald and for being openly gay. |
