He is best known for his Modernist poems such as This is Just To Say and The Red Wheelbarrow. His most famous work is Paterson, five books of poetry about the New Jersey town of Paterson. In 1963 he was given the Pulitzer Prize for Literature. He is sometimes known as WCW. |
