In the 1960s he played with the trumpeter Blue Mitchell and in Miles Davis’ group. He played on many Miles Davis records including In a Silent Way and Bitches Brew. In the 1970s he started a group called Return to Forever playing in a jazz fusion style. Apart from his music, Corea is known for being a Scientologist, His real name is Armando Corea.
