释义 | Marconi, Guglielmo[ (mahr-koh-nee) ] An Italian inventor and electrical engineer of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. His most famous invention is the wireless telegraph, the forerunner of present-day radio, which he developed in the 1890s. In 1909, Marconi received the Nobel Prize for physics.
