English translation of '春节'

Chinese New Year, or Spring Festival, is the most important festival of the year andfalls on the first day of the lunar calendar. Traditionally families gather together,children receive money in red envelopes, and in some parts of China everyone helpsmake and eat a festival feast. On greeting people over this festival it is traditionalto wish them wealth and happiness, by saying 恭喜发财 (gōngxǐ fācái).
