释义 | zymoidadj.n. A. adj. Resembling a ferment. ΚΠ 1891 Cent. Dict. B. n. A substance having a relation to a ferment analogous to that of a toxoid to the corresponding toxin. ΚΠ 1900 U.S. Dept. Agric. Bur. Anim. Ind. Rep. 257 (Cent. Dict. Suppl.) The hypothesis of Morgenroth in regard to the existence of a haptophore group and the [sic; ? a] zymophore group in the labile ferment has been recently verified by Myers and Bashford, who have discovered zymoids analogous to the toxoids.
