Etymology: < bugle n.1 + weed n.1
1. A herbaceous plant with bright blue flowers found in alpine regions of Europe, perhaps a member of the family Scrophulariaceae. Obsolete. rare. Hill's plant does not correspond with the plant that currently bears the name Tozzia alpina, which has yellow flowers.
