Intermeddling, interference: esp. in or from Scots Law, the action of intermeddling with the effects of another, the assuming of the possession and management of the property of another, either with or without legal authority; in the latter case called vicious intromission. Also, generally, the transactions of an agent or subordinate with the money of his employer or principal.
